We've good and bad news…
After the announcement that Harvey Weinstein intends to close the Scream franchise with one last film, during the Zurich film Festival, Bloody Disgusting added a new line to the statement:
Weinstein told the Zurich Film Festival audience that there’s no overlap between the series and film franchise, adding that the series “is supposed to represent a new beginning and also pursue a supernatural direction.”
That should mean that they won't be messing around with the movies, but… Really? Supernatural stuff on the Screamverse? It looks like a bad Stab movie or a bad dream…
